RENDEZVOUS DAYS EVENT
Labor Day Weekend

Annual Quilt Show - Fri/Sat. Sept. 3 & 4 - Held at Wamic Comm. Church No
charge.  Hours TBA
Parade:  11:00am Saturday Sept. 4th. Staging area at Pub/Grub lot.  10:00am
for judging.
         Entry forms available in the local Wampinrock paper.
Parade Grand Marshals:  Tom & Deanna McDowell
Food booth (Rendezvous committee) at Wamic Auto Parts.  Donuts & coffee
(9am/11am).  Baked Potatoes 11am/1:00pm.
Raffle Tickets:  $200.00 prize for food at Wamic Store, and a 50/50 (winners
get 1/2 of whatever is taken in).
  Ticket cost:  $1.00/each or 6 for $5.00.  Will be on sale at breakfast at
Grange (including Memorial Day Weekend)
                and from Rendezvous Committee   members (see Wampinrock for
details).
Saturday:  Pansy Field.  1:00pm to 3:00pm Children's Games: Cake Walk, Golf
Ball Hunt, Balloon Toss, & more.
                         No fee to enter.  Prizes for all children.
Saturday/Sunday:  Vendors/crafters at fenced area next to Grange.  If you
are interested in being a vendor,
    please contact Etta Myers (541) 544-2077.  Hours TBA
Saturday/Sunday/Monday:  Breakfast at Grange.  Fundraiser Fire Dept.
Cost/hours TBA
Tent meetings:  Pansy Field.  Thurs. Sept. 2, Fri. Sept. 3, Sat. Sept. 4 at
7:00pm.
                              Sunday am service 10:30am.
Community Potluck:  Sunday 1:00pm - Pansy Field, picnic/tent area.  Please
bring something to share.
Costume Contest:    Held on stage under tent at 2:00pm (Cowboys, Indians,
Pioneers)...awards.
Outhouse Races:     Main Street in Wamic.  Sat. & Sun. 3:00pm - 5:00pm.
Cash prizes.
Buffalo Stew Dinner:  Saturday evening, 5:00pm at Old School House.  Stew,
Fry Bread, Drink  $5.00

Pub & Grub has races on Saturday with Hot Dogs & Hamburgers available, and a
BBQ Rib Dinner Saturday eve.

Overnight camping spots available:  Pub & Grub lot, The Resort at Pine
Hollow Reservoir, Tygh Valley
  Campgrounds & Maupin.
Boating, Hiking, Camping, Swimming, Horse Back Riding, all available nearby.
Family oriented fun event.  No alcohol, Games & activities for children &
adults.  Children are welcome
           to participate in the parade with bikes, wagons, animals, etc.
